Senior Staff Applications Engineer

As we continue to grow, we are now looking for an experienced Digital Verification EDA Applications Engineer to join our team. 

Responsibilities

• You will be a key regional technical leader as part of our fast-paced European EDA Applications Engineering Team providing technical support and innovative solutions to our key customers in Sweden and across the Nordic region.
• As well as the customer support role you will have the ability to mentor and develop more junior team members and work with Synopsys’ R&D teams to enhance and develop solutions to the most challenging customer problems.
• You will be working at Synopsys offices regularly, and often at Customer premises engaging directly with customer design teams.
• You will have the opportunity for local and international travel. 
   

Key Requirements

• You will ideally be based in Stockholm, Sweden or in the immediate vicinity.
• You will be enthusiastic, motivated and willing to learn with strong people and communication skills and a passion for customer support and problem solving.
• Knowledge of Synopsys Verification EDA tools such as VCS, Verdi, SpyGlass and VC Formal would be an advantage although additional training will be provided where needed.
• If you are qualified to degree level in a semiconductor or electronic engineering subject and have at least 8 years’ relevant experience in the semiconductor, ASIC or EDA industries, this is an excellent opportunity to join a world class industry-leading organisation and help to shape the future.
