Maryleen is the Data Lead at Purple Beard UK where she heads the Data Team and oversees the delivery of the Data Analytics Bootcamps and Technician Apprenticeships. She is the Co-Chief Professional Development Officer at Neuromatch Academy US, an academy for computational neuroscience and deep learning. She co-facilitated the team of data scientists that solved the AI for energy systems challenge at the Alan Turing Institute. She has been lecturing at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Derby UK, particularly delivering courses on the MSc Big Data Analytics programme. Maryleen is undertaking a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Leicester with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things. She takes a keen interest in driving digital transformation in the industry 4.0 and Future of Work era through AI, IoT, and other frontier technologies.
