R&D Engineer

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic new colleague:
R&D Engineer

This job position will closely collaborate with imec Research Center and its partners. Imec is a world-leading R&D and innovation hub for semiconductors and digital technology located in Leuven, Belgium. In this role you would work closely with the engineering teams of IMEC as well as our own teams to enhance collaboration.

You will be a member of the R&D Team of PrimeShield, a fast-growing product for robust and Silicon-optimized advanced node designs. Tasks will include research, specification, design, development and support of new software as well as enhancement and maintenance of existing code. The candidate should excel in solving complex problems and with other team members, to create highly differentiated solutions in the market. Challenges include design of efficient data structures and algorithms to support analysis of complex 500M+ gate designs, ability to learn new areas, and commitment to deliver high-quality production software.

Requirements
 

• Typically requires MS/Ph.D. degree with a minimum of 3+ years of related experience.
• Excellent background in mathematics and integrated circuits.
• Experience in developing and maintaining complex software systems in C/C++
• Knowledge of static timing analysis, gate-level and/or transistor-level modeling is a plus.
• Proficiency in algorithms, data structures and software engineering is a plus.
